We had many high-quality student works at our CALA 2025 Fall Conference in Halifax! Our student awards were given to those papers that illustrate an outstanding contribution to the field of language assessment. The Fall Conference 2025 recipients are: Matthieu Meignan for his paper titled ​“Meaningfully addressing consequential validity for minoritized communities through experiential knowledge/ Traiter de manière significative lavalidité conséquente pour les communautés minoritaires grâce au savoir expérientiel” ; Meng-Hsun Lee for his paper titled: “​A Mixed-Methods Investigation into Raters’ Assessments of Prosodic Features” ; and Christina Hammam for her paper titled : “​Understanding Referral Barriers: A Scoping Review of Psychoeducational Assessment Pathways for EAL Students.” Congratulations once again!
