
The CALA 2026 Fall Conference in Halifax showcased an impressive array of student research contributions! We are proud to recognize the outstanding papers that significantly contributed in the field of language assessment. The award recipients for this year are, from right to left:
Youssef Bouaddi for his paper titled “From Listening Comprehension to Mediation: Experimenting with Multilingual Assessment in a Secondary ESL Classroom”;
Kevin Croisetière-Otis for her paper titled “(Co-)Constructing the Competency to Interact Orally in a Second Language: A Comparative Case Study of Two Secondary School Teachers’ Professional Representations”; and
Louis-David Bibeau for his paper titled “L'ethnométhodologie critique comme levier d'équité en évaluation des langues en milieu universitaire”.
