French language competence evaluation in Canada: Challenges and possibilities












Monique Bournot-Trites est professeure agrégée au Département de langue et de littératie à l’Université de la Colombie-Britannique.
Elle donne des cours dans le programme de formation des enseignants ainsi que des cours au niveau de 2e et 3e cycle sur l'évaluation de la langue seconde, les méthodes de recherche et la lecture. La plupart de ses recherches sont menées dans le contexte de l'immersion française.
Pour son travail pour la langue française au Canada, elle a récemment reçu le prix de Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques du gouvernement français.
